It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Design Contest WIN 4000 POINTS, 20$ AND MORE!I've wanted to hold a design contest for a long time now, and finally I've gathered enough points to do it :D

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red
-Long tails, big/long
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Well since this group has grown so much (1000+ watchers!!!!) there are, inavitably, people who do not read the rules.

So here is a reminder blog on  the rules of the group.

:bulletblue: We are a group of Fairy Tales and not Disney, Bluth, Burton ect.

:bulletgreen: You must submit your piece to the correct folder. This is a serious problem- featured is only if there is not a folder already created for your piece (if you are unsure contact any of the admin!). Though there seems to be a problem on DA when trying to submit folders (but again, contact an admin instead of submitting just anywhere.)

:bulletred: BE SURE that what you submit is relevent to the group's theme (fairy tales). Many people seem to be submitting anything in their gallery

:bulletpink: Just because you have a piece that you feel is a  fairytale does not mean that the admin will automatically be able to tell. Please make sure you reference the fairytale in either title or description (most do this anyway)- it will save the admin many headaches

:bulletorange: We do not accept mythology- we are a Fairy Tales group, not fantasy.
Art submitted to our group should be appropriate, afterall we are a group based on the fairytales we knew as we grew up.

:bulletyellow: Regarding fantasy (ie landsacpes), if your piece is a specific fairytale then it is ok to submit it- and if you still want your piece as a part of the group, try submitting it as a favorite! (just be sure to submit it to the right folder there too!!)
